    3M Scotch 23 Rubber Splicing Tape is a black, 30-mil (0.76 mm) thick, premium grade, highly conformable, rubber splicing tape composed of a self-fusing Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber backing supplied on a removable polyethylene liner. It withstands temperatures up to 194 °F (90 °C) with an emergency overload rating to 266 °F (130 °C).
