    Short Description:

    3M 5423 is a double-sided transparent UHMW tape with a abrasion resistant backing that protects the surface from wear. 3M UHMW PE Film Tape 5423 is a thick caliper universal polyethylene tape that produces a “sliding surface” effect, making contact fray-free while reducing the squeaking caused by movement, ideal for the use because of contamination and non-lubricated applications. The effectiveness of 3M 5421 UHMW-PE film tape mainly lies in its Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) backing, and UHMW-PE is a thermoplastic that has a unique combination of properties, such as exceptional hardness and low surface energy. 3M UHMW-PE Film Tape 5423 is a thicker version of 3M UHMW-PE Film Tape 5421.
