Original 3M Tape Primer 94 Adhesion Promoter for VHB Adhesive Tape

3M 94 Tape primer is usually applied before adhesive tape attached, as it can improve the tape adhesion to make sure the tape bonding firmly and permanently to the substrates.

It’s very easy to use. Firstly, clean by isopropyl alcohol to make sure the surface is free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Then use brush or swab for small areas, or you can also use pressurized flow gun for those larger areas. Thirdly, allow the primer to dry completely, which is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, before applying tape. For those porous surfaces, it may require 2 applications for uniform coverage in order to realize the good adhesion. Please note that before applying a second coat, you need to allow your first application of primer to dry completely.
