The tape’s formulated material properties—including a dielectric constant of 30 and a dielectric strength of 350 V/mil—are designed to smoothly grade the electric field, eliminating the need for a traditionally wound stress cone and simplifying installation.

      The tape’s 275% elongation at break and 17 lbs/in tensile strength allow it to conform tightly to irregular shapes and cable components under stretch, ensuring reliable, void-free adhesion only to itself.        NMN Insulation Paper is a three-ply laminated with polyester film between two layers of Nomex paper.  It is Nomex paper/Polyester film/Nomex paper flexible composite material.

      The polyester film has excellent mechanical properties, dielectric strength, and dimensional stability. It’s laminated based on Nomex paper helps enhance the performance and reliability of rotating machines. This high-voltage insulation paper offers excellent electrical insulation properties, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of transformers and small motors.

      It has various of thicknesses ranging from 0.15 mm to 0.45 mm, and the width can be from 4mm to 914mm with breakdown voltage ranging from 7KV to more than 27KV.

      The most important applications for these laminates are slot liners, wedges and phase insulation in Class H motors and generators, as well as in large and specialty Class F motors.

It is more cost-effective, making it an ideal replacement for NMN. It can also serve as a substitute for Nomex NMN and AMA series products.
